Are you fulfilled with life?
Do you feel like your life has a purpose? Or are you searching for meaning and not able to find it?
Success, pleasure, accumulation of wealth are empty.
“Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done and on the labour in which I had toiled;
indeed all was emptiness and grasping for the wind.”
Ecclesiastes 2:1-10“For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”
1 Timothy 6:7
But there is a solution!
Jesus Christ is the source of “living water” – to quench your soul’s thirst.
“Whoever drinks of the water of this world will thirst again, but whoever drinks of water that I shall give him will never thirst.”
John 4:13-14
Just as a glove is made to contain a hand, your heart is made to contain God. If you try to fit anything else in the glove, it just doesn’t work.
In the same way, if you try to fill your heart with money, possessions, love, good deeds, career, worldly success, you will find the happiness is fleeting and doesn’t last. The result is feelings of emptiness, anxiety, and despair. But if you fill your heart with God, you’ll find true satisfaction and joy!
The only way to God is through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said,
“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
No one comes to the Father (God) except through Me.”
John 14:6

Our relationship with God as our Father needs to be restored first!
“God has predestined us to become sons of God through Jesus Christ, according to the good
pleasure of His will.”
Ephesians 1:5

But the problem preventing us from restoring our relationship with God is sin and death.
“There is none righteous, no, not one.”
Romans 3:10“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23“By one man sin entered the world, and death
through sin, and thus death spread to all men,
because all sinned.”
Romans 5:21

Everyone has this problem, regardless of who or how good you are. It’s in your nature to sin. Sin separated you from God, but Jesus Christ reconciles you.
“The penalty of sin is death, but gift of God is eternal life in Christ.”
Romans 6:23“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8

Jesus paid this penalty on your behalf. In order to receive this free gift of eternal life and salvation, believe in Him and believe that He accomplished this for you.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should
not perish but have everlasting life.”
John 3:16“If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and
believe in your heart that God has raised Him from
the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9

Today, in faith, sincerely pray this prayer to Jesus to receive Him into your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a
sinner. I believe that You died for
me to pay the penalty of sin on
my behalf. I want to turn away
from my sin and receive you into
my heart as my Saviour and the
Lord of my life right now. Thank
you, Lord, for saving me! Amen.”
