Most people agree that Jesus was a real historical figure — a holy man that walked the earth 2,000 years ago. Some say He was a prophet, or a great teacher. Who was He really? The Bible shows us that He is a man but is also God. Some people like to argue that He never claimed to be God. This is false:”Before Abraham was, I AM” – John 8:58″I and My Father are one.” – John 10:30″…He said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God.” – John 5:18″God was manifested in the flesh” – 1 Timothy 3:16Not…

Easter is a time when many Christians around the world remember the death and resurrection of Christ. Various ceremonies, celebrations, and services are held during so-called “Holy Week”. Some Christian churches even have Easter Egg Hunts and Easter productions saying that these are harmless traditions that are just fun for children and adults. As usual, all these are done “for Jesus” As with many other “Christian” traditions such as Christmas, Christians should not be ignorant of their origins and simply call them “fun” and “harmless”. We must realize that not everything done in the name of Christ is acceptable to…

The Bible tells us this happens because Satan, the devil, rules this world (John 12:31) and that the whole world is under his influence (1 John 5:19). The world is a mess and full of sin and people have turned away from the one true living God and from following His ways. The influence of Satan has spread into entertainment, commerce, educational institutions, the media, politics, religion, and many other seemingly…

This is the third meeting of a series of 3 meetings where we go into more detail in the Word of God to look at why God had to replace the Old Covenant with a New Covenant, what it means to live in the New Covenant today, and why we should not go back to living by the law.
In this meeting we share about the failures of the Old Covenant and why the New Covenant was made to replace the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant and the letters of the Law could not perfect anyone because they were meant to be kept in the flesh. The New Covenant is by the Spirit, grace, and through faith and accomplished by Christ, which makes it perfect and faultless. Praise God that we are in the New Covenant today, never to go back to the Old and attempting to perfect ourselves using the flesh.
