Saturday April 27, 2023 – Message 1
This is the second message of two where we continue our fellowship on the book of Ephesians with chapter 5.
From verse 22 to chapter 6 verse 9, Paul speaks about the importance of relationships, beginning in the home and particularly between husband and wife. If the relationships at home are not right then it affects our whole life. A proper family filled with the Spirit and love, where the children are obedient is a glorious testimony to the world because, these days, this is exceedingly rare. The relationship between husband and wife must mirror the relationship between Christ and His bride, the Church. This is a relationship of love and nurture. One crucial aspect, which makes this and other relationships work is submission. Christ was our example as well. Being God, He submitted Himself and fully obeyed the Father, lowered Himself to be a servant, even to death on the cross.
