Join us on April 22, 2023 to hear about God’s gift for mankind – the Good News of Jesus Christ!
This is the third meeting of a series of 3 meetings where we go into more detail in the Word of God to look at why God had to replace the Old Covenant with a New Covenant, what it means to live in the New Covenant today, and why we should not go back to living by the law.
In this meeting we share about the failures of the Old Covenant and why the New Covenant was made to replace the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant and the letters of the Law could not perfect anyone because they were meant to be kept in the flesh. The New Covenant is by the Spirit, grace, and through faith and accomplished by Christ, which makes it perfect and faultless. Praise God that we are in the New Covenant today, never to go back to the Old and attempting to perfect ourselves using the flesh.
This is the second meeting of a series of 3 meetings where we go into more detail in the Word of God to look at why God had to replace the Old Covenant with a New Covenant, what it means to live in the New Covenant today, and why we should not go back to living by the law.
In this meeting we share about how Christ revealed God’s true standard in the Law, contrary to some people’s belief that He raised the standard. God requires His people to be perfect as He is perfect and the true requirement of God is not superficial outward holiness but a pure heart and inward transformation. The law, as written, mainly dealt with the outward but it’s not enough to just perform the outward, our inward condition must by righteous as well.

In this meeting we share about what the Old Covenant is and some of its details to understand the agreement that God made with His people, the Israelites.
